Compiere offered open-source enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

It aimed to streamline business processes for small to mid-sized enterprises. Its modular design allowed customisation and scalability. Compiere gained popularity for its flexibility and cost-effectiveness. In 2010, it was acquired by Aptean, a global provider of mission-critical enterprise software solutions. Aptean continued to support and enhance Compiere's ERP platform, integrating it into their suite of business solutions. Compiere's legacy lies in revolutionising ERP software with its open-source approach, empowering businesses with efficient and adaptable solutions for their operational needs.

Compiere has forked to ADempiere and iDempiere.
